The Foundation Team

Term 3 is over and spring is finally here…

The Foundation students and teachers have had a very eventful term with exciting learning opportunities. The growth and development shown by students is very clear now, as they’ve become more independent, curious and very eager to learn.

Overall, students are showing greater improvements in literacy and numeracy skills. They have learnt about the weather in Science and are now focusing on the latter topic of materials - ‘What’s it made of?’

Our gymnastics program was very successful and has now concluded. Students will resume with the sports program at school. We’ve had the Eid festival, filled with fun activities and joy. The Foundation students also celebrated their 100th day of school, which was a fantastic achievement.

As part of our music/performing arts program we were preparing for our annual Sirius College concert. Students had worked hard practising their roles and performances. It was a great team effort and all children were encouraged to do their part as best as possible. Our students’ efforts were amazing and the reward was a fantastic concert.

Looking forward to another great term.

Regards,
The Foundation Team
